Peter’s journey in glass started in 2001 when he started an apprenticeship with a production glass company in Colorado. After learning a strong foundation in basic techniques of shaping and design, he set out to broaden his knowledge by traveling across the country and experiencing artists working in different settings. Spending time in Oregon, Colorado, Illinois, and New England before landing in Michigan exposed the artist to new ideas and established techniques while also building working relationships with some of the top artists in the medium. Currently working at Tobylogic Studios in Olympia, WA, he is excited to continue his work and share his knowledge and experience with the next generation of borosilicate glass artists.
